Richmond, known for its stunning parks, gardens and its standing along the River Thames, is steeped in history dating back to the 16th century.
For centuries, Richmond was home to the country's royal family and has a long list of famous residents, both past and present.
From the 19th Century the area developed into a residential district and is now regarded as a hub for both commerce and tourism. Filming is very popular in the area from both tv and movie productions. (far to many to list here!)
Latchmere House has its own unique history dating back to 19th Century when it was built as a private dwelling. It was later acquired by the War office during WW1 as a hospital for treating officers.
