Cambridge City Rooms in Detail
This Victorian house offers 12 full-sized individual bedrooms, each boasting a private en-suite bathroom. The maximum occupancy of each room is 1 person, except for two studio rooms that can sleep 2. Each room is equipped with either a single or a double bed, and the bathrooms are fitted with enclosed showers. Guests share the hallways and corridors, and there is a large communal kitchen available, fully equipped with an oven, microwave, dishwasher, and a wide range of cutlery and utensils.
Every room is equipped with a flat-screen TV and provides complimentary coffee and tea. Additionally, an iron, ironing board, and hairdryer are provided in each room. The entire house is heated to ensure a comfortable night's sleep during the winter months. Guests also have access to a washing machine in the communal areas.

The Grafton shopping centre, including Waitrose and Primark, is also within walking distance. Furthermore, Cambridge City Rooms are conveniently located between Cambridge University Cricket and Tennis Club and Anglia Ruskin University, making them ideal for sports enthusiasts and university visitors.

- Tu Casa Tapas Restaurant is one of the many great restaurants on Mill Road, where the property is also located. It is, in fact, less than a minute's walk from Cambridge City Rooms. The Spanish restaurant has some of the best options such as vegetable paella and mushroom croquettes.
- If you are looking for an eatery with Chinese cuisine and wonderful noodles and dumplings, then you need to drop by Noodles Plus, just a short walk from Tu Casa Tapas. The menu is full of delicious and value-for-money choices. The tastes of steamed buns or fried dumplings are out of this world, being the best you can find in Cambridge.
- Zis Piri Piri is also a great chicken restaurant to visit on Mill Road. The peri peri chicken and grilled chicken are some of the favourites cited by customers. It also has a wide variety of pizzas with amazing flavours.

- The beautiful Parker’s Piece recreation park is a 30-second walk away, providing the perfect spot to exercise or relax after a busy day, or for guests desiring a more active stay, Parkside Pools and Gym is located just across the road. It is well-known as a spot for a picnic and playing football or cricket
- Christ's Pieces is a Victorian park, not far from Parker’s Piece and is another great place to relax. There are lots of benches, clean and well-maintained for visitors. Also, with a number of tennis courts and ping-pong tables, the park is ideal for lovers of sports activities. There is a small playground, with plenty of equipment for kids to play with.
- New Square Park is only across Christ’s Pieces and is the immediate spot to relax for anyone coming back from the Grafton Centre. It has a humbler status compared to the other two parks, but it is still a great place for a picnic or a stroll.
- Mill Road Cemetery is also just a short walk from the property. It is not a park per se, but the serenity and peacefulness of the place are major attractions. There are a lot of tall trees and amazing wildlife that will add more joy to your visit.
