Apartment with a beautiful view

Classic Amsterdam-style apartment located in the eastern part of the center on a very quiet street right next to the canals. The whole apartment is all yours. It has two bedrooms and a beautiful living room with a very comfortable couch so feel free to just chill after a long day before a large screen TV or just enjoy the view on the canals and a beautiful garden. The couch can also be easily turned into a nice queen size bed to get more comfy. In the second bedroom, there is another couch that can also be turned into a single bed in case you want more privacy.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a water boiler, oven, microwave, a dishwasher, pans and pots among others. You will also have access to a high-speed internet connection through Wifi. The bathroom has both a shower and a relaxing bathtub, and it is separated from the toilet. In the flat you will also find a washing machine and dryer which you can use whenever needed.

The apartment is perfect for a couple or two friends traveling together. It can also host four people very comfortably, as the bedroom can be separated from the living room, so both room can have its own privacy. If you need even more privacy, there is a separate bedroom with a couch that can be turned into a single bed. If you need to do some home office work, the second bedroom can also be used as an office room with a highly comfortable workstation. Both the street and the house is very quiet, so it is perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring this great city, Amsterdam!

The flat is in the southern part of the center. It is close both to the red light district and the downtown campus of the University of Amsterdam which gives the neighborhood a vibrant vibe! The main entrance of the Artis zoo is just around the corner, so if you are fond of animals, it is a must to see! The famous botanic garden of Amsterdam is only 5, and the Oosterpark is only 10 minutes away by foot which is a perfect place for relaxing on a summer day or observing locals hanging around and having a BBQ when the Vondelpark is flooded with tourists. Both the Hermitage Museum and the Tropen Museum are very close, where you can admire the work of Dutch artists and learn a lot of interesting facts about the Dutch culture and history, especially the Dutch golden age.

The closest grocery shop is only a few minutes’ walk away, as well as many very nice cafés, restaurants and pubs. Everyone can find something for him- or herself. I can highly recommend the famous “De Plantage” which is the restaurant of the zoo with excellent food. I can also recommend the “Caliente” just around the corner in case you are fond of the Mexican cuisine. The "IJ-brewery" is also quite close, which is famous for its excellent craft beers brewed in a classic Dutch windmill, and it is considered one of the best beer breweries in the whole Netherlands! If you are interested in seeing a great artistic movie after a nice meal, you can visit the “Kriterion” which is a well-known art cinema with a great selection of art movies.

Both the metro station and the tram stop is only a few minutes away, both of which gives you a very convenient connection to the central station and every other part of Amsterdam.
